Arts Advocacy Day is the only national event that brings together a broad cross-section of America’s cultural and civic organizations, along with hundreds of grassroots advocates from across the country, to underscore the importance of developing strong public policies and appropriating increased public funding for the arts.

1:30–2:20pm, Facts and Figures to Make Your Case
2:25–3:25pm, Part I: Funding for the NEA and U.S. Dept. of Education’s Art Programs
3:25–4:00pm, Refreshment Break
4:00–4:45pm, Part II: Breakout Sessions TBA
4:45–6:00pm, Dinner & Rest at Hotel
6:30–8:30pm, The 22nd Annual Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts and Public Policy featuring Wynton Marsalis at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall

8:00–10:00am, Congressional Arts Breakfast and On-Site Check-In
